Each guard has a baton stick, pepper spray, a whistle, handcuffs and a radio to get in touch with the control room in emergencies.
How are the guard’s trained?
All of our guards are trained at SECTRA, our in-house training school. They must each complete the security guard’s course which includes modules in search and arrest, first aid, fire prevention and access control.
How are the guard’s supervised?
Guards are checked on in person and via radio. Each guard is checked on by a supervisor at least three times per shift and they have regular radio check-ins with the control room. All incidents and observations are recorded in a book that stays on-site and is available for the client and the supervisors to look at.
